Khaled Helioui is an active angel investor focused on backing mission driven startups tackling opportunity gap or systemic risks. He was previously the CEO of Bigpoint, the largest online gaming company in Germany with over 500 employees & 400 million registered player, of which he led the reorganisation and subsequent sale to Youzu Interactive.

Khaled is Tunisian-French, an engineer by trade, and an active promoter of entrepreneurship as a driver of economic and social development, notably in Tunisia where he acts as mentor and coach for entrepreneurs & students. Juliet de Baubigny

Juliet de Baubigny joined Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers in 2001 as one of Silicon Valley’s first venture capital partners focused on leveraging the firm’s broad network and deep relationships to help entrepreneurs recruit the best talent and build iconic companies. Juliet is sought after by entrepreneurs for her expansive global network and strategic guidance in the areas of human capital strategy including executive leadership, talent, recruiting, compensation, corporate governance and team building.

Throughout her career, Juliet has contributed to building high-performance management teams at companies including Google, Amazon, DocuSign, Bloom Energy, Shazam, Chegg and Spotify. At KPCB, Juliet has led the development of several key initiatives including Kleiner Perkins Women Leaders (KPWL), an initiative aimed at mentoring and developing the next generation of female entrepreneurs, and the KPCB Fellows Program, a program that brings the most talented engineering, design, and product management students into KPCB portfolio companies. Juliet is a frequent contributor to Fortune as a Fortune Most Powerful Women Insider. She also appears often on Bloomberg TV, where she is an expert on Silicon Valley’s “War for Talent” as well as on millennials in the workplace, women in technology, and developing cultures of innovation.

Before joining KPCB, Juliet was a managing director of Ramsey Beirne Associates, a leading provider of executive searches to high-growth, leading-edge companies. Earlier in her career, Juliet was a partner at Heidrick & Struggles, a global executive search firm where she led CEO and VP level searches. Juliet began her career with Procter & Gamble in the United Kingdom.

Juliet earned her bachelor’s degree in business from Newcastle Business School at Northumbria University in the United Kingdom, where she also serves as a member of the Advisory Board. Juliet is also a passionate champion of innovation in philanthropy, contributing to leading organizations such as Product (RED), acting as an advisory board member for the Global Citizen and CHIME FOR CHANGE Girls’ and Women’s Committee, serving as co-chair for both CHIMEHACK and CHIMEHACK II, and most recently, co-founding Beyond Type 1, an organization focused on finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.

John Taylor

As a founding member of the band Duran Duran, John Taylor began his music career as a guitar player, soon switching to bass guitar, inspired by Bernard Edwards of Chic. His playing added an element of funk to band’s sound, which became a hallmark that remains to this day. With an eye for art, Taylor was very involved in helping design early album covers, tour posters and logos, and creating Duran Duran’s now iconic visual aesthetic.

During a hiatus in 1985, Taylor formed the group Power Station with Robert Palmer, Tony Thompson and Duran Duran’s Andy Taylor. Power Station garnered two Top 10 singles and played shows around the globe, including a set at Live Aid (where Duran Duran also played, making Taylor one of the few artists to appear twice that day).

Taylor has released a bevy of solo material, including the theme song from the film 9 ½ Weeks, “I Do What I Do”. He has explored acting through film and television roles, composed film scores, served as creative director for Juicy Couture for Men, designed instruments for Peavey, and has written both a memoir and a theatrical musical.

John Sykes

John Sykes is President of iHeartMedia Entertainment Enterprises, where he oversees strategic business partnerships and platforms across a broad range of media including television, digital video and live events as well as the creation and distribution of iHeartRadio-branded television programming and video content. Sykes is also an executive producer of iHeartMedia’s seven annual nationally televised network specials, including the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Turner Broadcasting, the iHeartRadio Music Festival on The CW Network, the iHeart Country Festival on FOX and iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina on Telemundo. He co-produced “12-12-12” — the Concert for Hurricane Sandy Relief and the historic 9/11 benefit event “Concert for New York City.”

Sykes was a core member of the team that created MTV in 1981. He then spent 20 years at Viacom in various senior roles including President of VH1, President of Network Development for MTV Networks and Chairman and CEO of Infinity Broadcasting (now CBS Radio). In 2008, Sykes joined MTV co-founder Bob Pittman at the Pilot Group, a private equity and venture firm in New York City. In 2011, Sykes was named iHeartMedia’s (formerly Clear Channel) President of Entertainment Enterprises. Sykes serves on the board of directors for Madison Square Garden, The Robin Hood Foundation, Critical Content Television, and The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He holds a BS in Television/Radio from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Communications and an honorary doctorate from the Berkeley school.

Joanna Coles

Joanna Coles is Chief Content Officer of Hearst Magazines, overseeing content and editorial partnerships for 300 magazines globally.  She also sits on the board of directors of Snap Inc and is the executive producer of ABC Freeform’s scripted drama, The Bold Type.

The British-born editor moved to the U.S. in 1997 as the New York Bureau Chief for The Guardian, before becoming the New York columnist for The Times of London.  Coles joined Hearst in 2006 as editor-in-chief of Marie Claire, where she co-produced the Style Network’s unscripted show Running in Heels.  She was named editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan, the world’s largest women’s media brand, in 2012. She was the executive producer of the unscripted series So Cosmo on E! in 2017.

Over the course of her career, Coles has won numerous prestigious awards for journalism and media leadership. She was recently described by The New York Times as “one of the most powerful people in media.”

In addition to her role with Hearst Magazines, Coles is currently writing a book with HarperCollins on relationships in the digital age and lives in Manhattan. She sits on the board of Women Entrepreneurs New York City, an initiative to expand female entrepreneurship, with a focus on underserved women and communities.

Jesse Williams

A native of Chicago and graduate of Temple University, Jesse Williams began his professional career teaching high school in low income Philadelphia public charter schools. From there he moved to New York City and, after working at a law firm, began his professional acting career, performing off-Broadway at The Cherry Lane Theatre under the direction of award-winning playwright Edward Albee in The Sandbox.

Williams is in his 9th season as Dr. Jackson Avery in ABC’s hit series Grey’s Anatomy and most recently served as senior producer and correspondent for EPIX docuseries America Divided with Norman Lear. His upcoming film projects include Band Aid, which premiered this month at the Sundance Film Festival, and Jacob’s Ladder, a reimagining of the 1990 psychological thriller from LD Entertainment and Will Packer Productions.

He also executive produced the documentary Stay Woke: The Black Lives Matter Movement, which premiered this summer. His feature credits also include Lee Daniels’ The Butler, The Cabin in the Woods, Brooklyn’s Finest, and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 as well as the acclaimed western short They Die By Dawn.

Williams is founder of the production company, farWord Inc. and the executive producer of Question Bridge: Black Males, a series of transmedia art installations, films, curriculum and website (QuestionBridge.com). The exhibition was an official selection of the 2012 Sundance Film Festival New Frontiers and continues to be exhibited in museums nationwide, including the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture.

Off screen, Williams hosts the sports and culture-themed podcast Open Run, through a partnership with LeBron James’ digital network, Uninterrupted. He is a board member, brand ambassador, and partner in the company Scholly, a mobile app that connect students to scholarships for which they’re eligible. Additionally, Williams and his wife, Aryn Drake Lee-Williams, alongside renowned artist Glenn Kaino, launched Ebroji, the first curated GIF keyboard designed specifically to enhance the way we already communicate.

Williams gained international attention for his acceptance speech when presented with the 2016 BET Humanitarian Award as a champion of civil rights. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Advancement Project, a leading national civil rights advocacy organization and Harry Belafonte’s arts and social justice organization Sankofa.org.
