Kathryn Murdoch
Kathryn Murdoch is the Co-Founder and President of the Quadrivium Foundation, which supports powerful, evidence-based solutions for critical societal problems. Kathryn is Co-Chair of Unite America, Co-Chair of the Climate Leadership Council and serves as a Trustee of the Environmental Defense Fund. She is a founding board member of SciLine, which provides scientific expertise and context for journalists. She is an Executive Producer of the upcoming PBS docu-series A Brief History of the Future and Co-Founder of Studio Futuras.
Juliet de Baubigny
Juliet focuses on emerging technology companies in the U.S. and Europe. She is actively involved with investment in Brex, Canva FabFitFun, Genies, Omio and Revolut and serves on Otrium’s board.
Prior to BOND, Juliet was a Senior Partner at Kleiner Perkins. Over an 18-year career at Kleiner Perkins, she worked closely with executive leadership teams at Amazon, Beyond Meat, Bloom Energy, Chegg, Google, Livongo, nest and Spotify. She has advised founders and CEOs on company building, leadership development and strategic partnerships.
Juliet is a passionate champion of innovation and philanthropy. She is a member of the board of Product (RED) and most recently co-founded Beyond Type 1, an organization focused on finding a cure for Type 1 diabetes.
Joanna Coles
Joanna Coles is a creative executive, producer, and best-selling author, managing a portfolio of TV and podcast projects with ABC, Amazon and Apple. She sits on three public boards (Snap, Sonos, Bark) and advises Masterclass, Klarna and Cornell Capital, a private equity company. She is also the Executive Producer of Hulu’s The Bold Type (on Netflix globally), the five season TV drama inspired by her career.
Coles is the former Chief Content Officer of Hearst Magazines, responsible for 300 magazines globally. She is also a director of the private tech companies Density, and Grover, Europe’s largest tech-rental platform based in Berlin, and KDC the global beauty manufacturer. And she advises the non-profit Women Entrepreneurs New York City, an initiative to expand female entrepreneurship, with a focus on underserved women and communities.
The British-born editor moved to the U.S. in 1997 as the New York Bureau Chief for The Guardian, before becoming the New York Bureau Chief for The Times of London.
Coles joined Hearst in 2006 as editor-in-chief of Marie Claire, where she co-produced the Style Network’s unscripted show Running in Heels. She was also the on-air mentor for Project Runway AllStars. She was named editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan, the world’s largest women’s media brand, in 2012. She was the executive producer of the unscripted series So Cosmo on E! in 2017.
Over the course of her career, Coles has won numerous prestigious awards for journalism and media leadership, including a Matrix Award, and a National Magazine Award for Cosmopolitan. the first in its 50 year history. She was recently described by The New York Times as “one of the most powerful people in media.”
Coles is the author of the best-selling Love Rules, published by HarperCollins, about relationships in the digital age, now being made into a TV show for FX.
She lives in Manhattan and has two sons, with the author Peter Godwin.
Harald Mix
Harald Mix is the founder and CEO of Altor Equity Partners, a private equity fund focused on investing in and developing medium-sized companies in Northern Europe. He is also chairman and co-founder of Vargas Holding, an investment firm and impact company builder focused on climate transition. Vargas Holding has been a co-founder of several companies, including the leading European li-ion battery manufacturer Northvolt and H2Green Steel, which is establishing the first commercial scale manufacturer of fossil-free steel. Prior to establishing Altor in 2003, Mr Mix was co- founder and deputy CEO of IK Investment Partners, where he focused on private equity investments in the Nordics. Previously, he worked in the principal investment group of the First Boston Corporation and at Booz Allen & Hamilton. He serves on the several boards including Carnegie Investment Bank and Kinnevik.
Gustav Söderström
Gustav Söderström is Spotify’s Co-President, Chief Product & Technology Officer. He is responsible for Spotify’s global product and technology strategy, overseeing the product, design, data, and engineering teams at the Company.
Mr. Söderström is a startup seed investor and founder of 13th Lab (acquired by Facebook’s Oculus). Before joining the company in 2009, Mr. Söderström was director of product and business development for Yahoo! Mobile from 2006 to 2009. In 2003, Mr. Söderström founded Kenet Works, a company that developed community software for mobile phones and served as the company’s Chief Executive Officer until it was acquired by Yahoo! in 2006.
Mr. Söderström holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
Gayle King
Gayle King is co-host of CBS MORNINGS. An accomplished television journalist, Gayle interviews top newsmakers and delivers original reporting to CBS MORNINGS and all CBS News broadcasts and platforms. She is also editor-at-large of Oprah Daily and hosts a live, weekly radio show titled “Gayle King in the House” on SiriusXM.
Since joining CBS News in 2011, Gayle has conducted revealing and news-making interviews with world leaders, political figures and celebrities, including former President Barack Obama; Secretary of State Mike Pompeo; Bruce Springsteen; Dave Chappelle; Chris Rock; Elon Musk; Billie Eilish; R. Kelly; and Michelle Obama and her mother, Marian Robinson, in their first TV interview together.
Gayle has also handled a number of high-profile assignments, including leading CBS News’ on-the-ground coverage from the Texas border to report on the Trump administration’s “zero-tolerance” immigration policy. She reported from Newtown, Conneticut in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, from the San Bernadino shootings and from the Paris terrorist attacks. She also co-anchored CBS News coverage of the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has anchored multiple primetime specials, including “The Gayle King Grammy Special” and previously hosted “The Gayle King Show,” a live, weekday television interview program on OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network.
Gayle has received numerous awards for her extensive work as a journalist, including three Emmys. In 2018 she was inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame and in 2019 she was selected for the TIME 100, Time magazine’s annual list of the hundred most influential people in the world. The mother of a daughter, Kirby, and a son, Will, she currently resides in New York City
Dustee Jenkins
Dustee Jenkins serves as the Chief Public Affairs Officer for Spotify where she oversees government affairs, policy, experiential productions, and external and internal enterprise-wide communications across more than 180 markets.
Since joining Spotify, Dustee has played a key role in shepherding the company’s listing on the NYSE, managing high profile reputation-based issues and launching the brand’s external-facing content hub and podcast, For The Record.
Prior to joining Spotify, Dustee was Chief Communications Officer at Target. Additionally, she served as the director of communications of the Department of Housing and Urban Development and was the Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison.
Dustee serves on the boards of Tech:NYC and New York Women in Communications. She lives in New York City with her husband, Justin, and two children.
Darnell Strom
Darnell Strom is a Partner & Head of the Culture and Commerce Division at premiere talent and entertainment company, UTA. Strom represents the most transformative figures, brands, and organizations across entertainment, media, sports, fashion, art, entrepreneurship, politics, and thought leadership. He works with pioneers whose creative vision shapes culture and recalibrates the ways we see the world. Strom works to expand his clients’ cultural influence and business opportunities across platforms including content, brand partnerships, technology, ventures, consumer products, and live events/experiences.
Prior to UTA, Darnell Strom was an Agent at Creative Artists Agency (CAA). At CAA, Strom developed relationships with clients and helped build their strategy for developing a vibrant platform across speaking, books, television, motion picture, technology, podcasts and digital. Strom’s clients included Dwyane Wade, Will Smith, will.i.am, Trevor Noah, Vice President Joe Biden, and Gayle King, Strom also advised top global brands like Google, YouTube, Salesforce, Target and Nike on talent partnerships and marketing campaigns. Prior to this, Strom served as a strategic advisor to actors, writers, directors, music artists, athletes, executives and corporations on their philanthropic and pro-social initiatives at the CAA Foundation.
Strom is currently an Independent Director on the board of Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ: WYNN). Strom also serves on the board of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, and as a Trustee for the Center for Early Education in Los Angeles. He has previously been a member of President Obama’s White House Entertainment Council, GQ Magazine’s Gentlemen’s Fund Advisory Committee, and the Paley Center’s Media Council.
Ash Pournouri
Ash Pournouri, a visionary entrepreneur, philanthropist, and two-time Grammy nominee, started his career by reimagining the role of record labels, publishing, tour booking, and music management. He began with the mission of creating and managing the brand of global superstar and partner Avicii, leading him to become a pioneer in breaking EDM as a mass movement and a leader in the global music business. Through his UNLTD portfolio companies, Ash creatively crafted artist-first partnerships with major global clients such as Ralph Lauren, Coca-Cola, IKEA, and H&M. He also co-founded a social media management company representing some of the world’s biggest media profiles. Ash has donated the majority of his personal income to various charities fighting world hunger and other impact-driven initiatives. He has expanded into the conference world with Spotify founder Daniel Ek, creating the two-day thought-leadership summit Brilliant Minds. Ash left the music industry in 2016 and started several businesses, and was an active early investor in, companies such as Nordic Angels, Convendum, Antler.co, Norrsken Impact Accelerator, and 6+ other major unicorn startups like Bolt.com, EnergyX, Audius and Mind Medicine.
Anu Duggal
Anu Duggal is the founding partner of Female Founders Fund, the largest early-stage fund investing in companies started by female founders launched in 2014. The fund now manages $100M of AUM and has invested in industry defining companies like Maven Clinic, Zola, Tala, Rent The Runway, Billie and more.
Anu has been honored in Fortune’s “40 Under 40” list, Crain’s “Notable Women in Tech” list, Business Insider’s “Ultimate List of Female Startup Investors” and “Top 4 Venture Firms Investing in Women.” Anu has appeared in leading outlets like The TODAY Show, Bloomberg TV, TIME, The Wall Street Journal, CNBC Squawk Alley, Fortune, Inc, Yahoo! Prior to starting Female Founders Fund, Anu co-founded Exclusively.in, a private-sale e-commerce company backed by Accel Partners and Tiger Global, which was acquired by Indian fashion e-commerce company Myntra in 2011. Her first entrepreneurial venture was in 2005 with the launch of India’s first wine bar ,The Tasting Room in Bombay. She holds an MBA from London Business School, a BA from Vassar College and a culinary degree from La Varenne.
