
Bob Thomas
Bob is a Partner at leading European B2B software investor, Oxx. With Oxx he leads investments in B2B software businesses in the AI, API and enterprise data management ecosystems. He is a finance industry veteran with an operating background. He works closely with European software businesses at the scale up stage to introduce talent and customers and develop investor relationships. Outside of Oxx, he is both an angel investor and mentor to early-stage SaaS founders, and his extensive background in M&A and capital raising has made him an expert in corporate development and exit strategies.

Michelle Kennedy
Michelle Kennedy is founder and CEO of Peanut, one of the fastest-growing social networking apps for women focusing on fertility, pregnancy, motherhood and menopause, which has raised $23m to date. Michelle was formerly Deputy CEO of dating behemoth Badoo, and during her tenure was integral to and inaugural board member of Bumble, (which IPOd at a $13bn valuation).
Having worked in social discovery for ten years, Michelle has unprecedented experience and understanding of the safety and growth components of building a social network for women and continues to execute on her mission to make Peanut the leading network to connect women when they need each other most. She is also a strategic investor in several early and late stage startups, and institutional venture capital funds.

Siduri Poli
Siduri Poli is an award-winning entrepreneur, investor, and author who work to create a more diverse and innovative future. She is investing in early-stage startups thru her own investment company Mother Ventures (Northe, Melon, AVA Stories, Petli, Freshsound, etc) and in late-stage companies thru Society Uncapped, an angel network she launched earlier this year (X Shore, Estrid etc). She is also a board member of the swedish state’s investment company Saminvest AB managing six billion sek.

Luca Bertalot
Luca Bertalot is Secretary General of the European Mortgage Federation – European Covered Bond Council (EMF-ECBC), representing the interests of EU mortgage lenders and the covered bond community in discussions with the European Institutions and stakeholders in general on all issues relating to the retail and funding sides of the mortgage business. Established in 1967, the EMF is the voice of the European mortgage industry, providing data and information on European mortgage markets, which were worth over €8.3 trillion at the end of 2021 (EU27 + UK). In 2004 the EMF founded the ECBC, a platform that brings together covered bond market participants including issuers, analysts, investment bankers, rating agencies and a wide range of interested stakeholders. ECBC members represent over 95% of covered bonds outstanding, which were worth over €2.9 trillion at the end of 2021.
In his capacity as EMF-ECBC Secretary General, Luca is also Consortium Coordinator for the Energy Efficient Mortgages Initiative (EEMI). In addition, Luca is a member of the European Commission’s Sustainable Energy Investment (SEI) Forum’s Advisory Group and the Advisory Board of the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice’s Economics Department.
Luca joined the EMF-ECBC in 2006, becoming Head of the ECBC in 2007 and was appointed Secretary General in 2014. Prior to this, he worked as a financial analyst in Italy and Australia. Luca holds a degree in Economics and Financial Markets from the University of Rome, Tor Vergata. He also studied at the University of Mannheim, Germany, and at the Wharton School – University of Pennsylvania, in the United States.

Ted Persson
Prior to joining EQT Ventures, Ted co-founded a number of successful digital agencies, including Speedway Digital Army (1997), Abel & Baker (1999) and Great Works (2002). Great Works has been part of the North Alliance (NOA), Scandinavia’s leading communications and technology network, since 2014.
While at Great Works, Ted also co-founded Our/Vodka, a global vodka made by local people in cities around the world run by Pernod Ricard.
Ted is a Partner at EQT Ventures and is passionate about all things product design, UX, storytelling and branding-related.
Ted currently acts as an advisor to a number of creative schools and startups, including Hyper Island and Atsoko International.

Anu Duggal is the founding partner of Female Founders Fund, the first early-stage fund for female founders. Cristian Giacomini
Dr. Giacomini is the Chairman at A for Value, a UAE holding company which operates in the industrial, financial, real estate, consultancy, and global trading sectors. The group supports private and public entities in approximately 80 countries around the world, with a focus on risk management, value creation, and growth strategies. Dr. Giacomini holds executive positions in the principal A for Value group companies, including CEO at modeFinance International, Europe’s first fintech rating agency, alongside executive roles at Toyo Europe, Toyo Machinery & Metal Co. Ltd. company, which is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. He is a Board Member and Advisor to the Board for multiple European and Middle East companies operating in the transport, green energy, and real estate sectors. Dr. Giacomini is a Professor in ‘Transport Technologies and Economics’ in the Engineering and Architecture Faculty of Trieste University in Italy. He is an active member in a number of significant European infrastructure projects, and within the European financial sectors.

Johan Andersson
Since 2013, Johan is the CEO and partner of the family owned company Mellby Gård; a conglomerate consisting of approximately 20 controlling investments predominantly within industry, retail & brands and services. Previously he worked with the private equity group EQT Partners after which he joined Smarteyes, a fast growing optical retailer founded and controlled by Mellby Gård. He holds a M.Sc from Chalmers University of Technology and a MBA from INSEAD. Johan currently holds several board member assignments including AcadeMedia (publ), Northern Europe’s largest education provider, Confederation of Swedish Enterprise and the Brilliant Minds Foundation.
