Paula Runsten is Co-Founder and CEO of Rebaba. At 24, after working at Tesla and Northvolt, she and her co-founder, Felix Kruse, set out to build circular battery factories to democratize access to clean, affordable energy globally and fight climate change.

Today, Rebaba builds circular energy storage systems from retired electric vehicle batteries, helping buildings, industries and EV charging operators cut electricity costs, strengthen energy resilience and generate revenue from the grid. The company is proving that circular energy storage can compete with the cheapest systems on price, while reducing emissions and avoiding pressure on fragile global supply chains.

Under Paula’s leadership, Rebaba has raised capital from European investors, won several national and European innovation and deep tech awards, opened its first CircularHub production facility in Stockholm, and is now scaling deployments with customers and distributors across Europe.
