Shari E. Redstone

Shari E. Redstone is a media executive with a wide-ranging background in numerous aspects of the entertainment industry and related ventures. She is Non-Executive Vice Chair of the Boards of CBS Corporation and Viacom, and President of National Amusements, one of the top 10 movie exhibitors in the United States. Ms. Redstone also is Co-founder and Managing Partner of Advancit Capital, an investment firm launched in 2011, which focuses on early stage companies at the intersection of media, entertainment and technology.

Ms. Redstone serves on the Board of Trustees for the Paley Center for Media and is also actively involved in a variety of charitable, civic, and educational organizations. She is a member of the Board of Trustees at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Ms. Redstone earned a BS from Tufts University, a JD and a Masters in Tax Law from Boston University. She practiced corporate law, estate planning and criminal law in the Boston area before joining National Amusements.
