A Taste of Brilliant Minds

For the second year in a row Brilliant Minds was happy to offer 200 young guests from local communities across Stockholm the chance to experience a taste of Brilliant Minds.

The year´s edition was once again be hosted by tech leader Binette Seck and speaker sessions at A Taste of Brilliant Minds offered 200 students and young adults from local communities across Stockholm the chance to experience some of the principles and thinking of the larger Brilliant Minds event. The series of panels and interviews held on stage shared powerful stories of bravery and accomplishment, offered challenging conversations on current trends, as well as encouraged inspiring and bold plans for the future – echoing Brilliant Minds’ 2023 theme of ‘Future-Gazing’.

While the main Brilliant Minds gathering remained a closed event – with speakers including Academy Award®-winning actor, filmmaker and author Sean Penn, Academy Award®-nominated filmmaker Darren Aronofsky, ESA Astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti, Comedian, best-selling author, producer and philanthropist Trevor Noah, and NBA All-Star and Champion Draymond Green in attendance – a Taste of Brilliant Minds continued to be an on-record and open program, targeted at local communities, running parallel to the main event.

We were so excited to be able to offer young people the chance to be a part of Brilliant Minds – to hear from inspiring future gazers, to better understand and connect through Swedish values, and to collaborate and share their own perspectives. We hope that we encouraged the audience to stand up and join the conversation, and play their part in our shared future.

A Taste of Brilliant Minds
Gothenburg

Following the great success of A Taste of Brilliant Minds in Stockholm last year we are so excited to be expanding this initiative together with Chalmers Ventures to bring the program to Gothenburg this July.

A Taste of Brilliant Minds Gothenburg will give the young, local communities of Sweden’s west coast the chance to experience a taste of the main Brilliant Minds event, with the aim to inspire, share perspectives and be included in the many conversations needed for the future that lies ahead.

Our event hosts, Binette Seck and Jonas Sandwall, will guide the audience through a series of panels and interviews with leaders of industry, tech entrepreneurs, and creative minds and storytellers to better understand, be inspired by and connect through Swedish values. The day will also entail food, beverages and music in the courtyard at Chalmers and we will end the day with a very special surprise!
